On dark fabrics, the white ink is printed first as an underbase — this creates a bright, opaque surface on which the CMYK colours are then printed. Without a white underbase, CMYK inks printed directly on a dark garment will appear muted or invisible. The Epson UltraChrome DG White delivers consistent coverage and excellent opacity for both light and dark garment printing.
