The Konica Minolta KM1024 MN printhead (also known as KM1024 MNB) is a genuine original Konica Minolta shear mode piezo on-demand printhead for solvent-based and oil-based inkjet printing applications. Featuring 1,024 nozzles in a 2-row configuration, 14pl native drop size, 360 dpi native resolution, and 8-level greyscale capability, the KM1024 MN delivers significantly improved image quality and print width over the KM512 series — doubling the print width to 72mm and doubling the greyscale levels. The KM1024 MN uses the Shared Wall 3-Cycle drive architecture and operates at lower voltages than competing piezo inkjet heads, with a redesigned actuator that further reduces power consumption.
