Availability: In stock

The Konica KM1600 UH-HA820 is a genuine original industrial inkjet printhead engineered for high-speed aqueous textile and fabric printing — used in DGI FabriJet FT-1604X and FT-3204X wide-format hybrid textile printers. The KM1600 is architecturally two KM800 UH-HA810 heads combined into a single unit: 1,600 nozzles across a 112.8mm print swathe (2 × 56.4mm), delivering 4-level grayscale jetting with drop volumes from 3 to 14 pl at a maximum frequency of 30 kHz and up to 600 dpi resolution. Built on Panasonic thin film piezo technology — the same platform Konica Minolta acquired from Panasonic in 2018 — with a stainless steel nozzle plate and aqueous ink compatibility. Every KM1600 UH-HA820 we sell at Digiprint USA is 100% genuine original Konica Minolta.
KM1600 = two KM800 heads in one unit. The KM1600 UH-HA820 is a dual-module head combining two KM800 UH-HA810 units. If your DGI FabriJet uses individual KM800 heads, order the KM800 UH-HA810 listing instead. Confirm your printer model and head position before ordering — FT-1604X and FT-3204X can use either KM800 or KM1600 depending on configuration. Head cable replacement is strongly recommended at installation. Contact our team to confirm before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is the KM1600 — is it just two KM800 heads bolted together?
Architecturally, yes — the KM1600 UH-HA820 combines two KM800 UH-HA810 modules into a single integrated unit, doubling the nozzle count from 800 to 1,600 and the print width from 56.4mm to 112.8mm. This allows DGI FabriJet printers to cover more width per carriage position without doubling the number of head slots. Both modules share the same thin film piezo technology, 4-level grayscale, 3–14pl drop range, and 30kHz frequency as the individual KM800. The UH-HA820 part number is used by both the Panasonic and Konica Minolta branding — Konica Minolta acquired Panasonic's printhead division in 2018 and this head continues under the Konica Minolta brand.
Why is UV ink not recommended for the KM1600 UH-HA820?
The KM1600 has no integrated internal heater — it is designed to operate at room temperature with aqueous (water-based) inks, including dye-sublimation inks used in the DGI FabriJet platform. UV-curable inks require elevated ink temperature for stable viscosity and jetting, which normally requires an internal heater. Without one, UV ink viscosity is unpredictable and can cause clogging, misfiring, and permanent nozzle damage. This head is aqueous-only.
Should I replace the head cable when installing the KM1600?
Yes — head cable replacement is strongly recommended at the time of printhead installation. The cable carries all data and power signals between the printer carriage board and the printhead. An aged or marginal cable can cause intermittent nozzle drop-out, incorrect firing waveforms, or communication errors that are often misdiagnosed as a faulty new head. Replacing the cable simultaneously eliminates this variable and protects your investment in a new KM1600. Contact our team if you need help sourcing the correct cable for your FabriJet model.
Do you ship the KM1600 UH-HA820 to Latin America?
Yes — same day shipping from our Doral, Miami FL warehouse before 2PM EST. Our Miami location is ideal for Latin American DGI FabriJet production shops using freight forwarders in the Doral area.
