The Mutoh VJ-1604 Printhead is an original, solvent-based printhead engineered for the Mutoh ValueJet series. It delivers fast, high-resolution printing using eco-solvent or mild solvent inks and is known for its precision and reliability. Featuring 8 nozzle lines (for 8 independent channels) and a native resolution of 1440 dpi, it supports variable droplet sizes from 1.5 to 21 picoliters and operates at a typical firing frequency of 8 kHz. This model comes sealed in official Mutoh packaging under part number DF-49684.

Please note: This head uses a 24-digit head ID and is not interchangeable with the water-based version (see part DF-49029).
It is highly recommended to replace the head data cables when installing a new printhead.
