The sole difference is the integrated heater: the LHB has a built-in heater (making it suitable for UV, oil-based, and solvent inks) while the LNB has no heater (oil-based and solvent only). Printers designed around the LHB route ink to the head expecting head-level thermal management of UV inks; installing an LNB in that slot results in jetting failure with UV formulations.
