The Roland DX4 Gold Printhead (part number 6000005180) is specifically engineered for UV printing and is compatible only with Roland VersaUV LEF2 series printers. Known as the “gold” DX4 head, this coated version offers enhanced resistance against UV inks, increasing durability and extending lifespan in harsh printing environments.
The 6000005180 DX4 printhead is the recommended choice for VersaUV printers. While the standard DX4 printhead (part number 6000005213) may be used on firmware version 1.4 or higher, it is critical to note that all printheads in a single printer must be identical—mixing standard and gold heads will result in failure. This “gold” DX4 printhead is not compatible with any printer model outside the ones listed below.
