Featuring a blue top and black ABS tip with a built-in spring, it is the correct holder for CB09UB and CB09UB-K60 blades — the two most widely used blades in the Graphtec CE and FC range. Compatible Blades
The PHP33-CB09N-HS holder is designed for springless CB09UB series blades. Use it with:
• CB09UB — 45° super-steel blade, 5-pack — for standard vinyl, HTV, and sign vinyl
• CB09UB-K60 — 30° super-steel blade, 2-pack — for window tint film and thin flexible films
Important: CB09UA blades have their own spring. If using a CB09UA blade in this holder, remove the spring from the blade first. Using a CB09UA with spring still attached in the PHP33-CB09N-HS will damage the holder.

PHP33-CB09N-HS vs Older Style Holders
The PHP33-CB09N-HS is the current production blade holder — it features a built-in spring in the holder body. Earlier Graphtec blade holders required the blade itself to carry the spring (the CB09UA blade style). The PHP33-CB09N-HS is designed for the newer CB09UB style blades which have no spring. If you are running older CB09UA blades with springs, either switch to CB09UB blades or remove the spring from the CB09UA blade before use in this holder.

How do I set the blade offset for the PHP33-CB09N-HS?
Blade offset setting depends on your cutting application. For the CB09UB 45° blade cutting standard vinyl, a typical offset of 0.25mm is used. For the CB09UB-K60 30° blade cutting window tint, a lower offset is usually required. Always test-cut on scrap material and adjust in your Graphtec software until the cut corners are clean with no overcut.
